Summary

Learners from School of Medicine and School of Nursing have formed a new student organization. This American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) UT Health Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group (LMIG) is open to all UT Health students. The purpose of the LMIG is to educate and empower students to use knowledge of lifestyle medicine in their future practice and to enhance their interprofessional teamwork behaviors and communication skills. The LMIG will conduct general meetings, group activities, and community projects for UT Health San Antonio students based on the six pillars of lifestyle medicine. All meetings, group activities, and community projects will be student led.
