This IPE activity was supported by funding through the LINC Seed Grant Program in 2022.

Summary

This IPE activity utilized an interprofessional critical care simulation experiences to different healthcare students of physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory care, and nursing. We measured each student’s levels of perceived confidence, communication, and teamwork collaboration with critical care simulation experiences using pre/post surveys. We also conducted focus group interviews to pre-selected group of students representing each involved healthcare disciplines about their critical thinking process based on their simulation experiences and any suggestions for future improvements.
