LINC Core IPE Measurement Plan

The LINC Core IPE Measurement Plan at UT Health San Antonio consists of four tools administered at three timepoints in a student’s academic career. Collectively, these valid and reliable tools measure changes in students’ reactions, attitudes/perceptions, skills, and behavior related to interprofessional education (IPE) and teamwork. Core IPE Measure A is administered as a traditional pre-/post-test at the start and end of each student’s educational program (i.e., A1/pre and A2/post). Core IPE Measures B and C are administered as a retrospective pre-/post-test with students directed to the start of their educational program as the pre-test reference point.

This plan was developed by the LINC Assessment Council with support from the LINC Academic Affairs Council, then unanimously approved by both of these Councils in June 2020 for inclusion in all school- and profession-specific IPE Plans.
