Inaugural Community of LINC Scholars Event Spotlights Journal of Allied Health Publication

The Community of LINC Scholars launched on May 19, 2023, marking a significant step forward in our continued commitment to disseminate high-quality scholarship. This new community—formed in response to the LINC Academic Affairs Council‘s 2023 priority to implement events and opportunities to facilitate interaction, engagement, and collaboration across LINC Councils—will meet bi-monthly to network, share progress, celebrate successes, and foster coordination and future collaborations.

During the inaugural May 19 event, Dr. Meredith Quinene and co-authors were recognized for their recent publication “Innovation in collaborative online learning yields sustainable model for university-wide interprofessional education” in the Journal of Allied Health. Attendees also shared updates on their ongoing IPE scholarly projects and discussed implications of the 2023 IPEC core competencies update, which is expected to be published late summer/early fall.

By recognizing achievements, fostering knowledge sharing, and strengthening connections, LINC reaffirms its commitment to excellence in interprofessional education, practice, and scholarship. RSVP here for the next Community of LINC Scholars event, which will take place in ALTC 1.105 on Friday, July 28, 2023.
