LINC Interprofessional Student Social Series

The LINC Interprofessional Student Social Series, developed and hosted by the LINC Student Council, fosters unity among students from all schools at UT Health San Antonio. This series launched in academic year 2023-2024 with three events promoting interprofessional student exchange and collaboration outside the classroom, creating opportunities for students to learn together while socializing and networking.

The first LINC Interprofessional Student Social event of this academic year took place on Wednesday, September 18, from 6:00-8:00 pm in ALTC 3.302.

Students gathered for a video game tournament, interprofessional networking, and pizza and soft drinks. The top 3 tournament finishers earned gift card prizes.

The last LINC Interprofessional Student Social event of academic year 2023-2024 took place on Wednesday, April 24, from 12:00-1:00 pm in ALTC 3.304.

The students played Barter Puzzle. Working in interprofessional groups, students strategized, negotiated, and communicated to complete their puzzle.

The first LINC Interprofessional Student Social event of 2024 took place on Thursday, January 25, from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Lecture Hall Commons.

Participants joined us in coloring and decorating Valentine’s cards for Methodist Children’s Hospital.

The inaugural LINC Interprofessional Student Social event took place on Wednesday, October 25, from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Holly Auditorium Lobby.

Participants joined us in a game of interprofessional bingo to expand knowledge about, and appreciation for, interprofessional colleagues across campus.
