Structure of LINC

UT San Antonio Health Science Center’s  Vice President for Academic, Faculty & Student Affairs (VP AFSA) and Deans Council provide the vision, resources and oversight to support LINC. The LINC Office establishes and leads strategy and administration for the four primary Councils described below, as well as all LINC Programs & Projects.

(1) LINC Academic Affairs Council: Vice and associate deans for academic affairs and/or curriculum from each health science center school, who collectively sustain IPE curricular integration through the management of program-specific LINC IPE Plans.

(2) LINC Education Council: Faculty leaders of LINC’s educational programs who collectively implement health science center-wide IPE activities in the LINC Longitudinal IPE Program and measure student learning outcomes using the LINC Core IPE Measurement Plan.

(3) LINC Student Council: Student representatives from each health science center school who provide feedback on IPE and promote interprofessional socialization.

(4) LINC Research Council: A team of faculty members who each develop and lead an independent research program – working in concert with LINC stakeholders and leveraging LINC’s infrastructure and resources – that advances health and learning outcomes through interprofessional interventions.
