Moderated by LINC Student Council members, this panel discussion explored the use of social media as an interprofessional teaching and learning tool in healthcare and health professions education to expand knowledge of interprofessional team dynamics and respect for team members.
12:00 to 1:00 pm – Faculty-led IPE Activity Development Workshop – Zoom
Led by LINC Faculty Council members, this workshop highlighted best practices in IPE activity development using the LINC Common IPE Experience as a case study. While designed for faculty and staff who attended the Council’s fall workshops, anyone who wanted to learn how to launch a successful didactic, co-curricular, clinical, or simulation IPE activity was invited to attend.

Following opening remarks from UT Health IPE leaders, Dr. Amy Blue, a nationally recognized expert in IPE from the University of Florida Health, underscored the myriad ways interprofessional teamwork improves the lives of patients, families, communities, and health professionals.

Developed by members of the LINC Student Council, this event leveraged networking activities to expand knowledge about, and appreciation for, interprofessional colleagues across campus. Free drinks and snacks were provided!
12:00 to 1:00 pm – Faculty-led LINC Writers’ Workshop Panel Discussion – Zoom
Designed as the concluding event of the 2023 LINC Writers’ Workshop, this panel discussion with nationally recognized IPE experts and journal editors was open to all faculty and staff seeking to publish their IPE work in the field’s top peer-reviewed journals.
4:00 to 4:30 pm – LINC Interprofessional FLASH! Case Competition Kick-off – Zoom
This event served as the formal launch of a completely revamped format for the LINC Interprofessional Case Competition. The new FLASH! design maximizes interprofessional learning while minimizing students’ time away from their studies.
